FAQ

_{Over the past few months I have been getting more and more notes/comments/emails asking me all kinds of questions. I tried to answer them all as thoroughly as possible, but eventually it began taking more time than it was worth, so - stealing the idea from some other artists on the site - I decided to put together this FAQ. Hope it helps.

--- Why don't you create your own models instead of using Poser?

--- What tools do you use?
Poser Pro 2010, Vue, Photoshop CS3, Wacom Inutos4 Medium.

--- How much experience do you have?
I'm basically a self-taught artist. Learning the tricks of the trade since 2005.

--- Why are comments disabled on all your art?
Because due to my current RL situation, I wouldn't be able to reply to any of them, and I think it's unfair to expect comments knowing no replies will be given.

--- Why do you watermark your art?
It's not that I want to do that, I simply have no choice - my art is not public domain and the only reasonable way to stop thieves from taking my images and re-posting/selling them as their own is to slap a watermark across each and every single one.

--- Can I find your art on other website galleries?
No, dA is the only place where I display my images and if you find any of them elsewhere, please report it to me ASAP.

--- Can I use your art for ... (insert anything here)?
Not without my written permission. In other words - ASK FIRST, preferably in a note. Also, see below.

--- Can I print your art out for personal use?
It's not that I can stop you from doing that, but bear in mind that the images in my gallery are low dpi/low quality, watermarked versions of the original art, so they are not suitable for print.

--- Why so few of your works are available as dA prints?
If you want to do me the honor and buy a print of my image - simply note me and I will make it available as soon as possible.

--- May I use your art for non-profit work like banners, sparkles, tubing, signatures or animations, layouts?
Absolutely not. My work is copyrighted and is not public domain. Sorry.

--- Have you ever received a Daily Deviation feature?
Yes, for:

--- Can you do me a fanart of...(insert anything here)?
In most cases - no. I very rarely do fanart because I dislike using concepts I do not own, it puts too many limitations on me as an artist.

--- Can you please watch me?
Why should I? If only to increase the number in your statistics then the answer is no.

--- Would you like to join my contest?
As a rule, I avoid contests because of the deadlines and limitations that come with them, so my answer will most probably be "no". Sorry.

--- Do you do erotic art?
Yes. I'm kinda famous for my troll porn, too.

--- "O'haaaii! I'd like a cake/llama/whatever badge, can you give me one?"

You bet. Anything except shooters and RTS is fine by me, including MMOs.

--- Do you roleplay online?
I don't roleplay by default. I never really could get into that, it seems totally not my cup of tea, so I'm sorry, the answer is: no.

Nope. I value both my privacy and my spare time, so I only talk to a few people via IMs, sorry.
